How’d He Do That?

Dave Hill is a fabulous photographer with a fabulous style. You can spot his work from 10 miles away. He swears there is no HDR or LucisArts involved. Someone at strobist thinks they have it figured out. Like a great magician, Dave will never tell –and keeps us all guessing. Kudos Dave.

The great communicators have unlimited tools at hand for moving their audience. Here’s an interesting article from the New York Times about the architects, Polshek Partnership, and a few of their Media Buildings.
A Very Large Mini
Filed by Musmanno email this post
Mini may be a compact car, but it does advertising in a big way. So big, pressure by competitors persuaded the city government to ban this mega projection after its third night of showing. The projection was accomplished with 4 beamers - all together 80,000 AnsiLumen - that produced a picture size of 85 x 117 feet. A very large Mini indeed.
